A study conducted by the Finnish Defense Forces on the cleaning of respirators and various protective equipment using a hydrogen peroxide gas method with Cleamix decontamination units ended on 8 May. The report is sent to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and is also available on the Defense Forces’ website.
“The results of the tests show that the respirators are microbiologically clean after treatment and meet the technical characteristics of the respirators, such as the filtration capacity of the filter material, the function of the filter straps and the function of the protective valves and seals.”
